I want to say a
big thank you to
A Thrifty Mrs for introducing me to the
delights of utility china, i spent a good couple of hours drooling over the beautiful pictures over on the
flickr group, wishing i owned such pretty china myself, and then in a happy twist of fate i happened to stumble upon these at the flea market this week......
*beam* oh i do love the beautiful curve of that jug spout! i think this may become a new mini obsession, especially searching for my first piece of that
elusive pink china!

I'm so glad my post was of some help.
Those are gorgeous finds there. Fingers crossed for some pink eh? I managed to find some this weekend which I'll blog about soon.
Lucky you truffling out those lovely pieces of utility, you're right about the shape of the jug.
Have you finished your quilt yet??

Hi Cate, thanks for poppiong by and saying hello :-)
Thanks for pointing me to utility china on 'a thrifty mrs' site and to the flickr group, I spent quite a bit of last evening looking at all the photos and have become quite hooked.
I'm itching to go out and see if I can find any in my local charity shops.
I look forward to reading more of your blog.
A x
